Huron Consulting Group (NASDAQ: HURN), a leading provider of business
consulting services, today announced that Jeannot Blanchet has joined
the Company as a managing director in the Accounting & Financial
Consulting practice focused on the financial services industry as well
as international financial reporting standards (IFRS).

Blanchet has more than 25 years of experience focused on complex
international accounting matters. Previously, Blanchet was a managing
director with Morgan Stanley in the Fixed Income and Global Capital
Markets division in Paris and London. Prior to that appointment, he was
a global managing partner at Arthur Andersen where he led both the U.S.
Professional Standards Group and the International Professional
Standards Group. Blanchet will support clients worldwide as they
consider transition to IFRS. In addition, he will help financial
institutions resolve their current reporting issues and assist with
regulatory and internal investigative work relating to the current
crisis in the financial markets.
