Huron Consulting Group (NASDAQ: HURN), a leading provider of business
consulting services, today announced that Christopher Drummond and Hank
Wells have joined the Company as managing directors in the Company’s
Health and Education segment focused on hospital labor cost management
and hospital interim management, respectively.

Drummond has more than 16 years of experience in healthcare operations
and labor productivity improvement. He joins Huron from Cardinal Health
where he served as a strategic accounts vice president. Prior to that
position, Drummond served as president and CEO of Meritech, Inc. At
Huron, Drummond will help hospital clients identify and implement
initiatives to better manage human capital investments.
Wells has more than 35 years of healthcare consulting experience focused
on leadership restructuring and financial turnarounds. He has served as
the interim CEO, CFO, and president of hospitals and healthcare systems
across the country. Previously, Wells was serving as a consultant to
Huron and prior to that position he was a managing director with
Navigant Consulting. At Huron, Wells will provide interim management
services to help improve the financial performance at hospitals,
allowing these clients to better serve their communities.
