Huron Consulting Group Expands Higher Ed Technology Client Focus
CHICAGO - January 30, 2007 - Huron Consulting Group (NASDAQ: HURN), a leading provider of financial and operational consulting services, today announced that John Voloudakis has joined the Company as a managing director. Voloudakis will expand the Company's technology service offerings to higher education clients.

"John will be helping Huron's health and education consulting clients integrate technology solutions in their complex business operations."
With more than 15 years of management consulting and operational experience, Voloudakis has focused on using technology to address the strategic needs of higher education and healthcare institutions. He comes to Huron from BearingPoint, Inc., where he was a regional practice leader in the Higher Education Consulting Services practice. He has also held senior higher education and healthcare technology positions at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young LLC, and was an IT manager at Harvard University.
During his career, Voloudakis has helped clients with numerous projects, including business and IT strategy development and rollout; project management; large-scale system selection and implementation; business intelligence; information security; IT architecture design; IT operations; software development; eCommerce; systems integration; supply chain management; business process analysis and redesign; group facilitation; and change management. Most recently, he has been engaged by several higher education organizations on technology-enabled transformation projects targeting their major administrative operations, and with helping higher education clients make better management decisions through improved use of information.
Voloudakis has also served as a research fellow with the EDUCAUSE Center for Applied Research (ECAR), where he provided in-depth research on a wide variety of technology topics to higher education executives. He holds an MBA from Boston University and a BA from Tufts University, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Voloudakis will be based in Huron's Boston office.
