Huron Consulting Group (NASDAQ: HURN), a leading provider of business
consulting services, today announced that Dr. Donald S. Bialek, John M.
Bodine and Linda F. McCann have joined the Company as managing directors
focused on hospital performance improvement in the areas of clinical
operations, healthcare valuation, and revenue cycle management,
respectively.

Bialek, who is an M.D., has more than 25 years of
experience in the healthcare industry in clinical practice, management,
academic medicine and consulting. He spent more than a decade serving as
chief executive officer of a large national physician group. Bialek also
taught and worked at Harvard as a medical informatician. Most recently
he served as a senior industry expert in the Global Health Services
practice for CSC Consulting working with provider, payor and life
sciences clients on a variety of clinical operations engagements. At
Huron, Bialek will be responsible for implementing clinical operations
improvement solutions that enhance patient flow, quality, satisfaction
and financial performance for a variety of hospital and health system
clients.
Bodine has immense experience advising healthcare clients on
mergers and acquisitions, tax and financial reporting issues,
recapitalizations, leveraged buyouts, ESOPs, joint ventures,
restructuring, and corporate planning matters. Prior to joining Huron,
Bodine served as the senior vice president of the Valuation practice at
Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin. Previously, Bodine also served as a
managing director at Valuation Counselors. At Huron, Bodine will be
focused on helping hospital and healthcare clients with financial
advisory and valuation services.
McCann has more than 25 years of experience leading engagements
at academic medical centers, multi-facility health systems, community
hospitals and physician practice groups. Previously, McCann served as a
practice area lead for the Provider Enterprise Information Management
practice at Hewlett-Packard (formerly Knightsbridge). Prior to that
appointment, McCann worked at Deloitte in the Health and Life Sciences
division. At Huron, McCann will be responsible for analyzing and
implementing revenue cycle improvements for hospital and health system
clients.
