Gallas to Lead Huron Healthcare’s Performance Solutions Focusing on
Sustainable Revenue and Expense Improvements for Hospital and Health
Systems

Huron Consulting Group (NASDAQ: HURN), a leading provider of business
consulting services, today announced that Jim
Gallas has joined the Company as a managing director in its Huron
Healthcare practice. Gallas will lead Huron Healthcare’s newly
created Performance
solutions service line, which encompasses Revenue,
Non-Labor
and Workforce
solutions.

Gallas
has more than 25 years of healthcare operations experience assisting
organizations achieve peak financial performance. Gallas joins Huron
Healthcare from Apria Healthcare where he served as executive vice
president and chief administrative officer for the home health services
provider. Prior to that position, he served in healthcare leadership
roles for both KPMG and BearingPoint. At Huron Healthcare, Gallas will
lead the Performance solutions service line focused on providing
sustainable revenue and expense improvements for healthcare providers.
