Huron Consulting Group Aligns with Former HHS OIG Counsel to Advise on Healthcare Compliance Issues
CHICAGO - January 25, 2007 - Huron Consulting Group (NASDAQ: HURN), a leading provider of financial and operational consulting services, today announced that the Company will be working with Susan Lemanski to advise on compliance and corporate integrity agreement (CIA) matters with Huron's clients in the healthcare sector. Lemanski formerly served as counsel in the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

During her career, Lemanski has focused on the areas of risk mitigation, compliance, and litigation support in the healthcare industry. She has worked with more than 50 independent review organization (IRO) clients and has worked on more than 100 IRO reports issued to the OIG. Lemanski regularly works with in-house legal counsel, corporate compliance officers, and outside legal counsel on corporate compliance matters and the negotiation and implementation of CIA provisions.
Prior to working with Huron, Lemanski was employed by Ernst & Young LLP's Health Science Fraud Investigation & Dispute Services practice. Before joining Ernst & Young, she served as HHS OIG counsel overseeing the provisions of numerous CIAs and was responsible for drafting two of the OIG's compliance guidances.
Lemanski, who is based in the Baltimore/Washington, DC area, received her JD from Saint Louis University (Certificate in Health Law) and BS in Finance from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
