Huron Consulting Group Adds Pharmaceutical Industry and Law Department Management Experts to its Ranks
CHICAGO – February 21, 2006 – Huron Consulting Group (NASDAQ: HURN), a leading provider of financial and operational consulting services, today announced that Suzanne E. Hawkins and Scott R. Willoughby have joined the Company as managing directors.

Hawkins brings more than 20 years of experience leading, advising, and practicing in major corporate law departments and law firms to Huron’s Legal Business Consulting practice. At Huron, she will advise clients on outside counsel management, legal technology, and quality matters critical to law department and law firm management. Prior to Huron, she held senior level positions at Hildebrandt International and General Electric Company. Hawkins is a member of the American Bar Association and the Bar of the State of New York and Federal Courts. She is also a former member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Association of Corporate Counsel. Hawkins received her JD from Georgetown University Law Center and her BA in American Government from Georgetown University. She is based in Huron’s New York office.
Willoughby brings more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry to Huron’s Healthcare practice. He advises clients on compliance and regulatory issues and risk assessments relating to the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors. Willoughby comes to Huron from Ernst and Young, where he was a senior manager. He is also the former assistant general counsel of the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America and the former general counsel of Otsuka America Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Willoughby received his JD from Washburn University School of Law and his BS in Pharmacy from the University of Kansas. He is based in Huron’s Washington, D.C. office.
