Former President Bill Clinton to speak at the Perspectives in Healthcare Forum hosted by Huron Consulting Group and the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University
"We are pleased to announce that President Clinton will be sharing his perspective on the challenges facing the healthcare industry at the forum," said Gary E. Holdren, chairman and CEO, Huron Consulting Group. "Our vision for the Perspectives in Healthcare Forum is to bring together leading thinkers across the healthcare spectrum to begin a dialogue that addresses the social and business aspects of taking good care of people."
"It is our honor to have President Clinton at Northwestern University and the Kellogg School of Management addressing this all-important healthcare forum and its diverse group of industry leaders," said Dipak C. Jain, dean of the Kellogg School.
With healthcare costs spiraling and competing interests prevailing over sound policy and action, Huron and the Kellogg School are bringing together the most respected thought leaders across industries to collaborate on innovative and practical system models that address competition, measurement, and incentives in healthcare while promoting access, quality and efficiency.
"There is a convergence of interests in the marketplace between patient, provider, and payor and it is our responsibility to make this nexus efficient and of the highest quality," said Mukesh Gangwal, Healthcare Provider Practice Leader, Huron Consulting Group. Huron and the Kellogg School are currently working on a joint initiative to enhance the patient experience in the United States.
