Economist Jeff Gray Joins Huron Consulting Group
CHICAGO - June 21, 2006 - Huron Consulting Group (NASDAQ: HURN), a leading provider of financial and operational consulting services, today announced that economist Jeffrey S. Gray, Ph.D., has joined the Company as a managing director and will lead Huron's Economics and Quantitative Analysis group.

Dr. Gray's expertise is in the evaluation of economic damages in large business disputes and the forecasting of economic losses from specific events at an organization. As a leading authority on economic and labor markets, statistical methods, and economic damages, Dr. Gray has provided expert testimony in State and Federal Courts and presented analytical findings to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Texas Commissioner of Insurance, and the New York and Massachusetts State Offices of Attorney General. His research has been published in some of the leading peer-reviewed journals in economics, including The American Economic Review and the Journal of Human Resources. He is also a frequent lecturer on pressing economics issues. He comes to Huron from Deloitte Financial Advisory Services LLP where he was principal-in-charge of its Boston office. Dr. Gray received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and his B.A. in Economics from University of California, Santa Cruz. He is based in Huron's Boston office.
Dr. Gray will be an active member of Huron's Academic Council, which is chaired by Edward A. Snyder, Dean of the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, and comprised of economics, accounting, and finance professors from nationally acclaimed universities. Council members provide commentary on matters of importance in economic litigation and related academic research. They also work with Huron to provide expert testimony in economic litigation.
