Joy T. Brown was elected to Huron’s board of directors on September 13, 2022. Ms. Brown serves on the Audit and the Technology and Information Security Committees. Previously, she led Capital One’s credit card Global Data, Analytics and Machine Learning function helping the company make better credit decisions, optimize operations, and increase customer engagement. Earlier in her career, she spent time at UnitedHealth Group, Vanguard, and had her formative experiences at General Electric (financial services businesses and corporate).
Ms. Brown is a technology executive with a successful track record guiding Fortune 100 global organizations through innovative digital transformation in a world where data and AI are key drivers of achieving B2B and B2C growth and delivering value to consumers, achieving key business results, increasing shareholder value, establishing consumer-focused 360-degree leading-edge capabilities, and attaining corporate performance objectives.
Ms. Brown received her Master of Business Administration from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia and her Bachelor of Science in Information Systems and Data Engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University. She currently serves on the board of directors and Audit Committee of the public company Tractor Supply Company. She is also an advisor for Flexpa, and serves on the non-proﬁt board of Peter Paul Development Center. She is on The Greycroft Technical Council.
