Huron Consulting Group Celebrates 10-Year Anniversary with Community Service

Huron to Mark the Celebration with Employee Driven Volunteerism

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May. 9, 2012-- Huron Consulting Group (NASDAQ: HURN), a leading provider of business consulting services, today announced that the Company will celebrate its 10-year anniversary through employee participation in a series of community service events. Huron will provide time off for its employees in every office location to demonstrate the Company’s commitment to supporting local community organizations.

As part of the anniversary celebration, Huron employees will be participating in 33 community service events with 31 different organizations worldwide. The Company’s ongoing commitment to the community brings employees together by helping others through Huron Helping Hands initiatives.

A selection of 10-Year Anniversary community events include:

  • Chicago – the office will work with the Chicago Public Schools reading to children and organizing a library, and with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago assisting with arts and crafts projects.
  • Houston – the office will host a food drive and work on-site at the Houston Food Bank.
  • India – the office will host a food and clothing drive.
  • London – the office will support Oxfam GB with a clothing and household items drive.
  • New York – the office will work on-site at the Food Bank For New York City to help sort, weigh, package, and ship donated food items.
  • Portland – the office will volunteer at Outside In, The ReBuilding Center of Our United Villages, and Transition Projects.
